recommended use:
Homeopathic oral drops for symptoms associated with otitis media such as ear pain, throbbing pain, inflammation, and swelling.

directions:
Otovowen should be taken at the first signs of an upper respiratory tract infection, as infections in the nasopharyngeal area can easily spread to the middle ear, especially in children. Continue use until all symptoms have subsided.
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 12-15 drops, 1-3 times per day.
Children 1-5 years: 4-7 drops, 1-3 times per day.
Infants 0-11 months: 2-4 drops, 1-3 times per day.

• Echinacea purpurea (echinacea - aerial parts) mother tincture - 0.75ml
• Matricaria recutita (chamomile - whole plant) mother tincture - 0.225ml
• Sambucus nigra (elderberry - leaves, inflorescences) mother tincture- 0.225ml
• Sanguinaria canadensis (rhizome, roots) mother tincture - 0.075ml
• Capsicum annuum (fruit) - 4X 0.075ml
• Hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal - rhizome, roots) - 4X 0.075ml
• iodum (iodine) - 4X 0.075ml
• natrium tetraboracicum (sodium tetraborate / borax) - 4X 0.075ml
• Aconitum napellus (wolfsbane - whole plant) - 6X 0.075ml
• hydrargyrum bicyanatum (mercurius cyanatus / mercury [II] cyanide) - 6X 0.075ml

non-medicinal ingredients:
Alcohol, water.
Contains 53% (V/V) alcohol.

cautions and warnings:

• do not use for more than 8 weeks
• consult healthcare practitioner before use in children under 2 years of age, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• inform healthcare practitioner if you are taking any other medications
• stop use and consult healthcare practitioner if you experience fever, severe aches, head or neck pain, secretions from the ear, or if symptoms worsen or last more than 2 days

contraindications:

• do not use if you are sensitive to plants of the daisy family, or any of the other product ingredients
• do not use if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukemia or leukemia-similar diseases, inflammatory disease of the connective tissue (collagenosis), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis (MS), AIDS, HIV infection, or other chronic viral diseases

known adverse reactions:

• hypersensitive reactions (including skin rash, itching, facial swelling, respiratory problems, dizziness, and fall in blood pressure) have been observed and may occur with remedies containing echinacea

Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C and use within 6 months of opening.
