WESTPOINT NATURALS TART-O-CREAM - 400g

Tart-O-Cream is a blend of acid reacting salts and starch that mimics the same effect as the pure cream of tartar. It is strictly an acidifier and should not be combined with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to form a baking powder-type leavener. It replaces cream of tartar on an equal weight basis. Tart-O-Cream replaces other acid salts on an equal weight basis, except in angel food cakes where only 60% as much Tart-O-Cream is used.
